Izabelle (Izzy) Manning '22 Recruiting Profile

I am a multi-sport athelite.  I play football (kicker),basketball(guard and post) and soccer.  Soccer is my favorite, but I feel I am a better rounded athlete by playing more sports.  During the pandemic, with no football, I tried tennis, and was named all conference as my doubles partner and I won conference at 4th Doubles.  I have been an A student for as long as I remember, and am continuing that with honor  and AP classes in high school.

2 phrases my coaches have told me in season reviews are a “great teammate” and “ very coachable”.  I’m proud of these - I want to put in the work to make myself and teammates better on and off the field.  

I mainly play outside back, either side, as I’m comfortable with either foot.  But I’ll play wherever I’m put on the field - and have seen time in many positions.  I’ve been asked to go into goal in emergency situations.  Whatever helps the team I am happy to do.   

Thinking about college, I want to continue to learn while playing a sport I love.   I am interested in mathematics.  I love to compete, but also love to learn.    

My Dream is to play soccer at the next level, and to find a family of players and coaches for  the 4 years after high school while helping the team to be more successful.
