Andrea Wilk '19 Recruiting Profile

Soccer is something I love, something I’m good at. It’s my passion. Two characteristics that I have and that make me a good candidate for any team are hard work and coachability. I take pride in the effort and diligence I put into everything I do on and off the field. This could be at practice, during games, or even in the classroom. I know the importance of having consistent diligence in all aspects of life in order to be successful.

I also have shown nothing but respect for each coach I have played for and have no plan on changing this attitude in the future. I listen to whatever they have to say and work to improve on those aspects and make them proud in order to grow as a person and a player.

I am aware that I had a late start in terms of goalie training since I wasn’t introduced to the position until junior high and didn’t receive any real coaching until my freshman year of high school. However, as I mentioned earlier, I am a hard worker. Additionally, my love for the sport and the encouragement of my coaches and others have pushed me to improve tremendously over the years.

God has blessed me with athleticism and determination, and I am willing to do whatever it takes to continue playing the game that I love at a college that is right for me and my future.
