My name is Jameela Hydre Yusoff and I am a senior attending Decatur Central High School, located in Central Indiana. I am a four year Varsity soccer player who excels at midfield, preferably right mid/wing. I can also play right or left back if needed. I am predominantly right footed, but I still possess the ability to cross/shoot/kick with my left foot. Because of this, my past coaches utilized me in different positions like left mid, left back, and striker. I started my soccer career in 5th grade by joining a rec team, which then led to joining a middle school and travel team. Because of the lack of girl soccer players in my area, I ended up joining a boy’s travel team my first year of travel. I have played alongside boys for at least 4 years now, and loved every bit of it. I experienced new playing styles and a new intensity of play. I also participate in my high school’s track and field team. I run sprints and mid-distance. These aspects affect my soccer career because of my increased speed and endurance from running track.
