Soccer has been a part of my life since I can remember. I have always loved the atmosphere that is a soccer team- an almost second family that laughs and has fun, but also acts as a well-oiled machine out on the field. That, and the way that soccer pushes your body and mind to become better is what fuels my love for the game. I think this love, my ability to work with others, and my desire to always get better is what makes me a good candidate for a team. However, while playing soccer is something I love to do, academics are most important to me. I want to become a doctor, so my schooling is essential. This is why I want to play at a school where academics are the priority, and the sport is not a full-time job. In order to prepare myself for college, I'm taking a challenging courses. I will be taking three AP classes this 2017-2018 school year as well as two other academic classes, a fine arts class, and a science elective. In addition to this, I am involved in many extracurricular activities like tutoring elementary students after school and different diversity-centered student-led clubs. Overall, I am extremely excited to begin the college search process and discover which school can help me to achieve my goals.
