My name is Ellison Stewart and I am a 2025 graduate. I am currently in the top 75 of my class, actively involved in National Honor Society, with a 4.6+ GPA.
I am a three sport athlete that participates in soccer, basketball, and track and field. And have been varsity my entire high school career in all three sports.
In soccer, I am our captain, the main striker. I also can play either right or left wing or midfield strongly. My top strengths are dual foot action and strength, solid header and contact ability on any corner and accuracy and distance on throw ins. My speed is a huge factor in my position, and that is a direct result from track and field. I am our leader on that field and I keep a calm attitude, control of our team and ensure that I am encouraging people...but I love being in a situation that we have to push to win and I enjoy controlling the field and the ball.
In basketball. I am our point guard, captain, current high school assist leader. My goal is always to look for the best opportunity to score and reading the court to find my teammates. My second best quality would be rebounding and I am never afraid to get in there with anyone. It is a great team sport and it keeps me in shape and working different muscles over the winter season. Sectional and Regional Champions! **Single Season Assist Recorder Holder, Single Season Steals Record Holder**
In track and field, I specialize in the 400 meter dash but I also run the 3200 meter relay, the 1600 meter relay, and I long jump. I have made it to the Indiana state both years for track (so far), freshman year in the 4x4 (57.3 seconds) and sophomore year in the 4x8 and the 4x4. My sophomore year we placed 2nd in the IHSAA state 4x4, with me running anchor both years. My sophomore year I also broke our high school long jump record with a jump of 17'9".
Along with being a three sport athlete, I take school very seriously and I make time for my academics in my schedule. My schedule is dedicated to higher level classes and I am also enrolled in college courses in psychology and sociology. Although athletics is my primary focus, I am involved in National Honor Society, I was freshman homecoming queen, I was our Optimist Student of the year my Freshman year too.
I am a positive leader in all of my sports and I would be a benefit to any team environment. In the end, the thing that I can promise in anything I do is 100% commitment. That includes in season, off season, training, game preparation, etc. I treat it like this is a full time job and I respect my teammates and our coaches and everyone involved in our sport!
