Hello, my name is Claire Boynton, and I bring a unique perspective as an American student living overseas. I attend Ramstein High School on Ramstein Air Base in Germany and will graduate in 2025. My soccer journey began at the age of five in Germany, where technical skills are foundational to instruction. This early development, combined with my speed, strength, soccer IQ, and playmaking ability, has shaped me into a dynamic and versatile player. Whether as a Winger, Forward, or CAM, I thrive in high-pressure moments and am dangerous in nearly every position on the pitch.
As the 2025 Stars and Stripes DODEA Europe Soccer Athlete of the Year and High School Team Captain, I have led my team to back-to-back undefeated championships in 2024 and 2025—a testament to my leadership, resilience, and commitment to excellence. My consistency in front of goal is reflected in my Golden Boot awards (25 goals in 2024, 18 in 2025), proving my ability to impact games at the highest level.
Beyond high school competition, I have tested myself against elite players across Europe and the U.S. In Germany, I played for FFC Kaiserslautern in the U17 Bundesliga and was part of the 2023 ODP Europe Pool, earning selection for the 2024 ODP Summer ID event in the U.S. My experience with ODP in Texas, coupled with competing in ECNL and Girls Academy League club schedules, has shaped me into a technically sharp, adaptable, and battle-tested athlete.
Academically, I bring the same dedication. With a 3.77 GPA, I challenge myself in Honors and AP courses, ensuring my education matches the intensity of my athletic career. I am a proud member of the National Honor Society and actively engage in my community. In 2024, I established and led a tutoring program on Ramstein Air Base, connecting high school mentors with elementary students—an initiative that speaks to my leadership beyond the field.
Living overseas has broadened my worldview, exposing me to different cultures and perspectives that shape my character and ambitions. While my path differs from many U.S. recruits, I believe it has prepared me to be adaptable, resilient, and ready to excel in collegiate athletics and academics. As I look ahead, I am focused on universities with strong academic programs in engineering, architecture, or business, seeking a team that values both athletic and personal growth.
I am eager to bring my work ethic, leadership, and winning mentality to a collegiate program that challenges me both on and off the field. I look forward to making an impact and proving that I am ready for the next level.

- Coach Feedback: Claire Boynton Strengths: - 1v1 pacing, technique and wins almost every match up - penetrates defense really well with game sense and strong sense of tactics - great crosser with balls on the ground - team leader, girls tend to gravitate to her and see her as a leader - great right foot Weaknesses: - spreading the defense all the way to the line as WIDE AS POSSIBLE - being more dangerous with left foot - do not let emotions and frustrations effect your game and attitude, stay mentally engaged/positive as much as possible - confidence in her soccer skill: Claire is an exceptional player that needs to know that any girl that steps on the field, she can take on without fear. - crossing the ball with back spin and with curve, understanding when to do which type of cross is crucial. Claire was without a doubt one of the best players in the entire camp. Her soccer IQ, technique and strong foundation of basics is profound. What Claire should be aware of is her speed and movement off the ball. That will be the difference maker for her to go and take her skill to limitless heights. - --- Completed 76 laps. 22 Mar 21. The Progressive Aerobic Cardiovascular Endurance Run (PACER) test is a variation of the Beep Test, and is part of the FitnessGram and Brockport test batteries. It is a maximal aerobic fitness test, where the participants run 20m shuttles at increasing speeds. The speeds and levels of the 20 meter PACER test is based on the original details of the shuttle run test developed by Leger et al. (1988).

- OLYMPIC DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM (ODP) Through our Olympic Development Program (ODP), we identify elite players from across the state with the intention of developing those players with supplemental training in a competitive environment, while also exposing them to opportunities for success at higher levels of competition. Through regional ODP ID Camps, staff select players within each age group to form ODP training pools. Pools provide the opportunity for players to continue to be monitored as their skills develop. Region staff later select the top 18 players from within each age group to attend inter-regional events. Inter-regional events provide the opportunity for players to be selected for the USYS National Training Camp (NTC). THE STX ODP PLAYER BENEFITS: Training and playing with top players in the same age group from around the state, supplementing the day-to-day club training environment Competition against ODP teams from other states Instruction from highly qualified coaches Exposure to USYS regional scouts, US Soccer scouts, MLS Academies coaches, regional team scouts and college coaches The opportunity to represent South Texas and the South region in competition Annual international trips for state team selections
