Being born and raised on Guam has given me many advantages. For one, I’ve been exposed to various cultures and languages including growing up in a bicultural household: Federated States of Micronesia and American. I’ve also played co-ed football my entire childhood up until age 14 where I transitioned into the Women’s D1 Premier League to play against women up to their 30’s. My greatest advantage has been participating in the Guam Youth National Teams-I started at age 12- and challenging numerous countries in Asian Football Confederation (AFC) and EAFF tournaments: China, North and South Korea, Jordan, Kyrgyzstan, Sri Lanka, and other Asian and Middle Eastern countries. I currently play on the U-20 Guam Women’s National Team and am preparing for the AFC U20 Women’s Championship Qualifiers in August 2021.
I want to play college football to better engage in collegiate opportunities, grow in my skill set as a player and future Masakada(Guam’s official Women’s National Team) member, and glorify God by enjoying what I do.
I’m an intuitive leader that strives to serve others before herself. I’m extremely hard working: I live by reaping what you sow and sacrificing in order to be the best. On the field, I won’t give up the ball without a hard-earned fight, I successfully analyze the field to detect the appropriate passing pockets and patterns as a defensive midfielder, and I strive at switching the ball across the field to open up new space and passing opportunities.
