Delana Friesen '18 Recruiting Profile

    Since the age of four, my dreams and aspirations have always been to play soccer at the highest caliber. Now at the age of 16, I have traveled across the country and across the world to play the game. In the previous year alone I have played in Minnesota and Costa Rica with my club team and proceeded on to be selected out of all female Albertan players to compete in the United Kingdom with the Regional Excel Program.

    I have been exposed to many different styles of play which aids me in always continuing to better mine. I am a dedicated athlete who enjoys any opportunity possible to train, learn and improve my skill set.  I have a undeniable passion and work ethic that is noticeable through my studies and when I play. Throughout the year, I have been training at least 6 times a week including 2 weight lifting sessions and maintaining my honors average in my classes. I have a very useful skill of time management and am very aware of what is expected from me and others around me. I am dependable and I take it upon myself to use my time appropriately to achieve my goals. I enjoy a team atmosphere and truly love the game.
