Personal Statement

Over the years, I've grown into the game in a way that’s been both challenging and rewarding. Starting young gave me a solid foundation, but it’s really been in the last five years that things have started to come together; technically, mentally, and competitively. Playing in the BC Summer Games was a turning point, opening the door to new opportunities and raising my level of play. Being one of only 18 players selected from over 60 that tried out for the BC Summer Games was a moment that demonstrated the work I’ve put in and how committed I am to the sport. Most recently, I earned the final roster spot on the Premier Soccer Academy’s 2025 summer travel team, and I’ll be competing in both the Gothia Cup and Dana Cup, something I’m incredibly grateful for. Coaches have often described me as very coachable, that I listen intently, take pride in always being open to feedback and pushing myself to improve. Competing with and against top athletes continues to shape the player I’m becoming, and I’m proud of the progress so far, motivated to keep building, especially as I look ahead to the university level.
