Kennedy Walsh '21 Recruiting Profile

I am kennedy walsh and I want to attend college to not only better my education, but to make a difference in my future. I am very passionate about going into the business industry, specifically the Finance or Accounting field. The reason behind that choice is not only because I enjoy it, but because I can make a difference in someone’s life.  If I can make a financial situation easier on an individual, and ultimately help them I have achieved my goal. I wanted to attend a school that will not only help me achieve my academic goals, but also push me to better my athletic goals.

I am a very dedicated student athlete, who is very outgoing, responsible, and most importantly respectful. My goals are to complete my post secondary studies at a school which not only allows me the ability to play the game that I love, but that has the resources to allow me to strive in my studies. I would make a good candidate for a women’s team because I am driven, focused, and have a strong passion for the game of soccer. I am respectful to my fellow teammates, coaching staff, and officials, and I am very committed. What separates me from many other possible candidates is that firstly my academics are above average, and I take my studies very seriously. I am not afraid to seek help when I need it whether that be in the classroom or on the field. I always give 100% in everything I do no matter how difficult and challenging it can be. Secondly my athletic abilities are higher than most. I have been playing soccer since the age of 4, I train with my club team 3-4 times a week and train on my own time is well. I have experience playing at higher levels of the game and the added stress, and pressure that comes from that. I have played on a provincial team for 2 years, and I currently play on a regional team. I workout on a regular basis staying in the best shape I can be in order to strive to not only to be the best version of myself, but to become the best athlete I can be.
