Laurence Dube '18 Recruiting Profile

I am a very determined and passionate person in life which drives my goals to attend a good ranked school for medicine studies and at the same time keep playing soccer, my passion, at a competitive level. Furthermore, one of my most sacred value is hard work, all my life I have put my 100 % in everything I have done and it led me to be a straight A student and be part of the Soccer National Training Center. In addition of these accomplishments, I have played in two different club teams for the last 3 years and been part of the provincial team 3 years in a row.

My organization skill is key to my success because being part of the Soccer National Training Center means practicing soccer every afternoon, which forces me to miss classes. In order to be successful in this challenging situation I have developed my focus and my dedication to the most important things in my life. I consider myself to be a balance person because I have taken many art classes, done some volunteering at a palliative care house and reached a high level of sailing skills. I also took many classes to become a soccer referee and a coach. My teammates mean the world to me and I am recognized to foster team spirit. Finally, on the field my nickname is the wall: no one gets passed me and I stand tall and strong for what I want. I think that my addition to your team will bring leadership, reliability and strong communication.
