Monet Alonso-Cruz '19 Recruiting Profile

As I remember,  since I was 6 years of age I have been playing soccer and fell in love with the sport. I have aspired to play at the collegiate and National level. I know that playing in college is a once in a lifetime opportunity that could change my whole life.

I have great vision and play making abilities and excellent ball handling skills. I am a tough defender and will attack the midfield as well being a team player and always encouraging my team-mates. I am very coach able and strive to be one of the hardest working players and one of the hardest working recruits you’ll find.

In the classroom, I study hard and maintain a high GPA. I also volunteer at local youth soccer camps and i am currently a referee in our soccer association.

I want to attend a college where academics/athletics is a top priority . I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college/university to achieve my goals at the highest level of competition possible. I hope to become a key player to my college/university and achieve a great balance of academics and athletics while being challenged to work hard. So I will be proud of myself and as well to my parents.
