Playing post secondary soccer at a high level has been my dream since I was a kid. My big sister is my role model, so when she got her soccer scholarship to Radford it inspired me and made me want to work harder to be as successful as she is. I'm a good leader and tend to take on leadership roles on the teams I've played for, and I'm a good team mate both on and off the field. My high school team has also had a lot of success over the years. We have an OFSAA bronze and an OFSAA silver medal one of which I was lucky enough to win alongside my sister. In many ways high school soccer has always reminded me of why I love playing so much.
I'm in search of a school that will allow me to thrive academically as well as athletically. Somewhere that I can prove myself as an athlete and a student. I'm a natural leader and have always had a positive impact on my team mates both on and off the field. I was a chosen to be captain by my team mates and approved by my coaches for 5 years in a row. I am also a dedicated player. I travel close to an hour in both directions 6 times a week in order to practice with a high level team so I am competing in a high intensity environment. My coaches have always described me as a very technical, creative and smart player with good field vision and excellent soccer I.Q. I would like the opportunity to demonstrate that I can take the skills, both leadership and technical, that I have learned over the years and apply them at a collegiate level.
