Personal Statement

I love soccer, being on a team, manipulating the ball, constantly learning and improving. I am a resilient, hardworking, competitive soccer player.

At 5, I joined a co-ed team at the Brighton Soccer Club in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Throughout my primary school years, every recess was spent on the soccer field. At age 10, I played for a local community girls' team and participated in weekly soccer clinics. I have represented my State of Victoria for National Soccer and Futsal tournaments.

I am currently in year 12, at Rowville Secondary College, playing soccer at the Rowville Sports Academy. I have been signed for the over 20's, Seniors Team at Bentleigh Greens Football Club in the Women's National Premier League (WNPL). WNPL is the top amateur league in Australia. I also practice weekly with a professional football academy, Melbourne Victory.

As a striker in WNPL, I have received the Golden Boot every year since 2017. In 2023, my under-19s team was short a centre-back. I was asked to play the position temporarily and have been playing the position ever since, both in the National Premier League and at school. As a new centre-back, I still managed to win the Golden Boot for 2023.

I work hard throughout the week and on weekends, playing and coaching soccer. I am diligent at school and have a strong interest in psychology and physiotherapy.

My goal is to attend a university that plays winning soccer. My ultimate goal is to join a professional soccer club. I am seeking a scholarship so that I can pursue my ambitions in academics and soccer.
