Hugrun Olafsdottir '16 Recruiting Profile

I started playing soccer when I was six years old. I remember seeing my sister and my cousin playing for the senior team of our club when I was about 10 years old. It was then that I realized that I wanted to become a soccer player. I want to make that dream that I have had for the last 10 years come true. Although, I have to say, a part of that dream came true this year when I played with my team KR in the top division here in Iceland. But I want to improve more and I think playing for a collage in the United States is a great opportunity to do that and also get a quality education. I graduated high school in May of 2015 but plan on coming to the US in August of 2016.
