Dear madam or sir, 

I‘ve been playing soccer for eleven years now and since I have developed a sincere passion for this sport, I am really serious about playing soccer at a very high level. However, I’d like to be able to keep up with school as well and so far, I’ve been able to do so. 

When it comes to soccer, I am always trying to work on myself and I am always open for criticism. I am trying to train hard and I am always ready to train harder and to work more to be successful. I am aware of the fact that the key to success is hard work and I am ready to do everything that is necessary. I love playing when the opponent’s fans cheer loudly and aggressively, it makes me want to win even more. 

Of course, I want to focus both on soccer and studying and, in my opinion, college soccer would be the best opportunity for me not to have to neglect neither school nor my sport. On top of that,I’ll also be able to improve my English skills.

I’m looking forward to playing soccer in the U.S. because I think I can really improve my soccer skills tremendously and compete at a high level.
