Hi I'm Sara a 156year old from New Zealand. I play women's soccer and play center forward. I first started playing soccer when I was five years old, when I was about 7 I stopped playing for 2 years. But started back when I was 9. Up until 2015 I played as a centre back before changing to a centre forward.
I think I make a good candidate for the team because every time I step onto the field I inspired to play to my best potential. I am always working to try and improve myself and don't like giving up. In 2015 I was the Captain of my team and managed to score 64 goals and winning the Golden Boot award. We manage to come 2nd within our division losing by 1 goal.
While in the classroom I try my best to keep high standards, over the last two years I haven't been taking my grades seriously which I have now realised is a mistake. I am now trying my best to up my grades. unlike some other athletics I only play one sport and put all my effort into it. Which shows that I am 100% committed to the sport. I think my biggest motivation for me to do well is my late coach Kelly who passed away in 2017 she always believed in me and pushed me to do my best every time I step onto the pitch, she has defentily had a big impact on making me become the player I am today.
