Kate Hofmann '21 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing soccer since I was four years old and club for Sporting Blue Valley since fifth grade. My love for the game has grown over the years and continues to thrive. Playing in college would be a dream come true and would keep my love for the game alive. 

I am very aggressive and am good at finding good passing opportunities. Although I am not the biggest or largest player on the field, I use my size to my advantage in terms of speed. My soccer IQ helps me understand the game and see the whole field. I am working on becoming stronger and am always open to improving my abilities to be the best player I can be. I am a very hard worker and enjoy pushing myself to be the best I can. I am very coachable and try my best to always work hard. 

For academics, I study hard, try to understand each subject to the best of my ability and keep a high GPA. I am involved in the National Honor Society, National Spanish Honor Society, National English Honor Society, and the yearbook. 

I want to attend a college where I can continue to play soccer, keep my love for the game alive, and where I can push myself in the classroom and the field. I am open to all options but ultimately want a school that is a match for me. I hope to grow as a person, continue playing, and make my parents proud.
