I play for the Sporting Blue Valley U17 DA team (#17). For most of my
life, I have played both competitive soccer and competitive basketball at the highest level. I’ve
also competed in track. I take academics, service and faith very seriously too. I have very high
expectations of myself, a strong work ethic, and solid leadership skills. For example, I am an
honor student (3.7 GPA), I have proudly received the Presidential Service Award, and have
been a manager for football, boys soccer, and basketball. Last year I scored in the 90th
percentile (nationally) on the Pre-ACT, then this year, as a sophomore, I scored in the 87th
percentile (nationally) on the PSAT!
My goal is to play College soccer at a high level. I would like to attend a school that is rich in
tradition and school spirit, and offers a good balance between school and sport. I’m going to
either study science (I hope to become a trauma surgeon) or criminology. Both interest me a
lot!
As I mentioned, I have played competitive soccer for most of my life. I have been part of a state
championship team on which I played as the only CB, and went into Regionals with 8 shut-out
games in a row. I played ECNL (2016/2017) for Sporting Blue Valley ECNL 02, Sporting Blue
Valley Showcase 02 team (2017-2018), now for the Sporting Blue Valley DA. I have played all
over the field, but am most experienced and comfortable playing defender (outside and center).
My coaches have said that my best qualities are soccer IQ, technical skills, speed and all over
athletic ability. As a freshman, I played Varsity 6A high school soccer. During which I broke the school’s record
for the “Man U”. (An insane running challenge). Now, of course, due to DA rules, I can’t play
high school soccer.
With my DA experience, I have played with and against the best players in the game, and know
what it takes to play at the next level. I have been told that I am a good teammate, and a hard
worker. I am prepared to take that work ethic into college and have success at the next level
too.
