I am a three-sport athlete who is driven by competition. I learned the value of self-motivation when I joined my first soccer team. I immediately loved playing, but not just because it was fun; I wanted to win. I loved working with a group to achieve a collective goal, fighting for something we were all passionate about. On my first club soccer team, MWVSC, I met my people. We lifted each other up and worked together to compete in a sport we all loved. My love for soccer never stopped, and only continued to grow stronger as I progressed into varsity soccer and my current premier club team. I am eager to reach college and further improve not only in athletics but also academically. I am very serious about my academics, and I am particularly interested in math and science. I love finding solutions and working with other people in the classroom and on the soccer field.
I have spent many hours on my own improving everything from my technique and skills to my mental strength. For many years I struggled with confidence on and off the field, but with the help of positive teammates and coaches I have found a happy place where I feel confident in myself while still striving to improve. A team with a positive mindset and strong leadership are very important to me. I am so excited to play at the collegiate level and to further my development on the field and in the classroom.
Another thing to note about me is that I am also a serious lacrosse player, and I also have an NCSA profile for that as well. If I were given the option to play both sports at the collegiate level I would, but that is not my only consideration. https://tinyurl.com/NCSAlacrosseprofile
