Zofie Day '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Zofie Day. I am in the Class of 2025 at Lincoln Academy in Newcastle, Maine. I have been a starter on my varsity team since my freshman year and a captain since my sophomore year. I played the 6 as a freshman, the 8 as a sophomore, and the 10 as a junior. I earned the Defensive Player of the Year award my sophomore year and the Golden Boot/Offensive Player of the Year award my junior year. I was also named to the KVAC all-conference second team as a sophomore and the KVAC all-conference first team and Class B All-Regional first team as a junior. My primary position for my club team, DSA United, is Attacking Midfielder, but I also play wing when needed. We have won several tournaments where I scored goals and had even more assists. My biggest strengths as a player are my first touch, my ability to facilitate, my field awareness, and my speed. I hope to play on a college team where players and coaches are positive and supportive, but also hold each other accountable and push each other to be better. I am interested in studying Sports Management, Biomedical Engineering, or Exercise Science in college.
