Personal Statement

When I was 6, I used to play three sports at a time. I used to do soccer, gymnastics, and karate. After awhile I noticed that Soccer was the sport that I wanted to play for a long time, not karate and gymnastics. So I quit those two sports and gave my all to soccer and that has been doing me good. I have been giving soccer my all for years now and I can't wait for the years to come. There was a time before I started playing soccer and I saw a soccer team on T.V playing I looked at it and saw how fun and cool it looked. That's when I knew that's what I wanted to play. The field looks so big and how they worked together with there teamwork, I loved it! I used to always say how I wanted to be  USWNT even if I'm not on that team I would love to be close to a team like that. I would be a good candidate for your team because my grades are good, I am a fast player on the field, and would work well with my teammates.

What would make me different from other candidates is that I am used to playing with older teammates that play soccer. The first travel team that I played for was Cecil Kickers and I had to play up to 2004 so I had to step my game up. I work really good with my teammates I don't try to out-do my teammates unless I have too. I work really well and hard under pressure, there was this one time the game was close to ending and the score was at 0-0 so I worked really hard those last 5 minutes. I ended up scoring a goal and we won. The adrenaline that you have under that pressure telling you "Come on, we have to win give it your all!" really helped me in that situation. I gave my all in those last minutes. Lastly, I am a good person, I am a nice person to be around I can make you laugh when your not in a good mood. The energy that I give off is an enjoyable energy to be around.

When I go to college my degree plan will be Business Management. I would like to start my own business after college. But for now, I will continue volunteering at an after school program called Generation Station. I meet really great people there and have lots of fun there. It's a really fun place to volunteer, they teach you how to cook different types of foods. Which when I learn I teach the new people in the program. Generation Station has taught me a lot about family even though they are not my blood family, they are still family. The Generation Station has taught me how to have patience, how to work with other people, and how to make new friends when you don't want to.
