I first started playing soccer when I was ten years old, having previously tried gymnastics, ballet, and baseball (playing on my brother's all-boys team and beating out most of his teammates for a spot on the All Star roster, much to their dismay). I decided to give soccer a shot and within less than two seasons I had stopped all my other extracurricular activities and fallen 100% in love with this beautiful game.
I progressed quickly from rec level to select to travel to pre-academy. When it was time for me to start high school, I went out for, and made, the varsity squad, earning a position as the only starting freshman. In my sophomore season on the team, I was named to 2nd Team All County. My junior season I again received All County honors and was also named a team captain by my coaches.
Throughout my journey on the soccer field I have always had my sights set on playing at the college-level. It has been all I have wanted since I first took the field as a little girl and I hope to see that dream come to fruition one day. In order to reach my goals, I strive to train as much as possible, with and without my team. Continuing my training and staying healthy while also doing well is very important to me. I feel as if managing my time between sports and school is key to being successful on and off the pitch.
I bring not only technical skill and talent to the field, but also a sense of sportsmanship, tenacity, teamwork, leadership, and passion. There is a vast pool of prospects, with no shortage of talent, looking to play at the college level, but few love this game the way that I do. And I will never stop putting in the work to make my dream a reality.
