Peyton Lavin '15 Recruiting Profile

I have always aspired to be a professional soccer player. Even as a little girl, I would watch the Women's National Team and tell my mom, "That's going to be me one day!" Soccer has always been an extremely huge part of my life. My friends at school used to always ask, "Why are you always doing something for soccer?" But I never saw soccer as a negative because I thoroughly enjoy playing. No matter what, when I walk onto the field, whether it's a warm up for a game or just practice, I can feel the stress roll off my shoulders. Soccer is my getaway and most importantly, my love. In my 2013 high school season, I held the most assists in Washington County. I am very proud of this accomplishment because I feel this is a good representation of the type of player I am. I always play for the betterment of the team, working towards one goal - to win.
