Lexie Risinger '19 Recruiting Profile

My name is Alexandra Risinger, but i go by Lexie. The high school I am attending right now is still fairly new so we are still growing as a whole but we are getting better each year. I am hard working,  smart,  and dedicated, and when i put my mind to something I will do everything I can to make it happen. I am a hard worker whether that sports, school work or volunteer work. Over the summer I spend numerous hours volunteering with animals and kids and that is where my love for teaching came from, also my love for fostering animals and that is how i became a foster parent for dogs and cats. When thinking about school work, there is no such thing as good enough for me. I will over and beyond to get done what i need to do. However it's not just my academics that make me who i am, I have been playing soccer since I was four years old and I continue to play.  Soccer isn't just a passion it's a life style that I choose, and without it I wouldn't be where I am today. My goals are to graduate from high school, and move onto College and when I get there I will be playing soccer and working towards my bachelor degree  of education to become a teacher. I want to influence kids just like my teachers have influenced me. I want to be able to say that i left a mark on someones life and helped them lean everything they know.
