mariela andrade '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Mariela Andrade. I'm devoted to improving and developing as a student, athlete, and person. Coming from a Hispanic household, I was raised to love the game of soccer and have been playing since I was a little girl. Being a good athlete doesn't always mean creating plays and scoring goals but being a good person in and out of the field. I was awarded captain in 11th grade of High School and will encourage my teammates and lead by example. This being said, in the classroom, I work hard and try to maintain a good GPA. My current GPA is 3.9/4.0. I am also a part of a school program (MC2) in which I challenge myself by taking college classes throughout high school in addition to completing 60 college credits upon graduation and graduating with an associate's degree.

I am excited to be the first in my family to continue my soccer journey at the collegiate level.
