Elizabeth Shoucair '26 Recruiting Profile

Hello! My name is Elizabeth Shoucair, and I’m a Sophomore at Tahanto Regional Middle/High school. To be a good student athlete I focus on maintaining excellent grades in all my classes, and I am currently interested in English/Education as college Majors. My height is currently 5’4”, and my position is forward.

I play for FC Stars 08 ECNL Regional White team, where I have transitioned from Right Wing Back to Forward. I am playing on my Highschool Varsity team as a second year starter. Last year we went to the final four in States, a record no other Girls Varsity team at our school had set. This year, season of 23-24, we made it to CMASS Finals. Again, another record we have set. I have enjoyed many positions, whether that’s defense, midfield or offense, and love the challenges that come with each. I have been training with my right and left foot since I was six. In games I have used both my left and right foot with drag backs, scissors, passes, goals and more. I have learned a great deal from the coaches of two club teams: FC Stars and Scorpions. My club journey started with Scorpions, and for four years I played on their Elite team. Then, when I was Eleven, I made their ECNL National team as a right back. During COVID, my family moved to Berlin, and I started at Tahanto Regional Middle/High school. I then tried out for FC Stars, and I was offered a position on their ECNL White 08’ National team, as a Center back. Since I started forward this year for club, we moved down to FC Stars Regional White so I could learn my position and keep a positive attitude, because to achieve being the best I can be, I will inevitably make mistakes. This year for High school as a forward I’ve scored 18 goals and had 3 assists. 

Other interests I have are Weight Training, Volleyball, Futsal, and MMA, as well as participating in Chorus and Drama club. I enjoy the different skills I need to master for each. Soccer has been my favorite sport since the age of five, and that still holds true to this day. Thank you for reading my statement, have a wonderful day!
