My whole entire life I have grown up being put on the lower team, or just not making the cut, over the last few years I have seen what hard work and dedication can do. I have put in the work to turn my soccer career around in the right direction, and for every team i have been told no for in the past I have been told yes. I last year got pulled up to the A travel Braintree team, and started all games or our South shore league championship (playoffs-finals) and into our MTOC states tournament (playoffs-finals). Also last year I got pulled up to my clubs impact team from originally being at the elite level. Because of my past failures I have learned the importance of hard work. I value every minute of practice time and push myself to constantly be improving. And I love to positively encourage my teammates to do the same. I know fully believe that if you put your head down and work you can achieve anything. Before I had started my path on my progression with soccer, I thought that I have reached my peak and soccer sadly just wasn't in my future, after thinking that I realized I love soccer so much and I can't and will never give that up. I have an extreme fight to be pushed past my limits and to constantly progress. I am ready to take my soccer to the collegiate level and I am more than ready to back that with hard work everyday until that time. It is engraved in my character that i will never give up, and always work to become the best Lucy Carr I can ever be.
