Sidney Nunes '26 Recruiting Profile

Determination fuels my discipline. I am Sidney Nunes, a diligent and resilient athlete. The beautiful game has taught me responsibility, respect, and leadership. I play with the discipline to bring my team as a whole to learn. I desire hardworking environments and lessons where I learn new impactful things. As a soccer player, I have learned many impactful things of the beautiful game, yet the lesson with the most greatest impact upon me has been to study technique, attitude, and the way I communicate with my team and coaches. I understand that no process is easy, but with critical thinking and hard work the product can be great.

Besides the mental and physical development playing soccer since the age of 6 has given me, I place my focus on much other aspects of my life as well. I enjoy embracing my community in ways like volunteering at the farmer’s market during the summer. Academically, I love to be challenged and can work well under pressure. Taking an AP class like Government & Politics has helped me learn how many different functions and policies regulate my everyday life decisions and how I can even relate those functions to choosing the right school for myself. 

Overall, I cherish the things that have shaped my identity the most. I strive through setbacks and value the things I love most. Doing this has helped me become the player I am with the mindset of always learning, discipline, and having fun.
