My goal is to turn my love for the game of soccer into a college career and as a member, help my team reach its greatest potential it can as a whole. I am a good candidate for your team because I have had the unique opportunity to play soccer at a varsity level all four years of high school, along with club from age eight to seventeen. With this, I have learned the important lessons of discipline and teamwork and that hard work does pay off. It has also taught me the meaning of loyalty and family, I feel I can carry these experiences and lessons and apply them in being a member of a college team as well. I feel that what is most important that makes me stand out is the aspect of my character. It has never been about me, myself, and I but, rather about us. I feel that this trait allowed me to be a good high school and club captain over the past years. Athletically, I will be the first to admit I am not flashy as a player but, as a center mid, I feel I have good passing abilities and field awareness. Academically, I have always been on top of my studies in order to keep the best grades I could while also balancing athletics as well. I am my own biggest critique and I feel that the constant pressure I put myself under throughout my life to be the best I could has made me the student, athlete, and person I am today.
