Ava Fernandez '24 Recruiting Profile

I started playing soccer at 4 years old. The first day I stepped onto the field I fell in love with the game. Throughout the years I have taken all of the opportunities that I have been presented and made the most of them.   I would be honored to be able to play at a college level. Playing at a college level would allow me to keep playing the sport that I love and continue to grow on and off the field.  Playing soccer has taught me to be a team player, be a leader, good role model to others, and to work hard at your goals. It has also taught me to take ownership for your mistakes and learn how to get better.  I take my education seriously and would want to be at a college that could push me to work hard in the classroom and on the field. I believe that I can bring something that will benefit any college program that I am apart of.
