My name is Emma Hawkins, I have been playing soccer since I was 7 years old. I started out in AYSO and decided I wanted to challenge myself to be the best that I can be so I joined club soccer and have fell in love with playing. I play Goal Keeper and Attacking mid for the Nationals Capital area 05 girls red team and for my Durand high school varsity girls team I play Center back, holding mid and attacking mid. I also ref for the local AYSO teams in my area. I am an honor student, have recently been accepted to the National Honors Society and am current acting president of my 4H club. I am also active with the Durand FFA chapter and the Shiawassee county fair. I held the secretary position for my FFA chapter during my sophomore year in high school. I was also selected as captain of my school Soccer team as a sophomore for my junior year season. In my spare time, I raise agricultural animals, read and go to the gym to keep in top shape. I want to go to college to become an elementary school teacher with a concentration in special needs. Besides playing soccer, I also shoot competitively with the Durand clay target team, shooting trap and sporting clays. I put in any extra time I have when I am not studying, shooting, or playing soccer dedicating my time to weight training and improving my skills on the field.
