Tyler Ledford '16 Recruiting Profile

I am currently a Freshman at Waldorf University.  I have been a starting Varsity player since by Freshman Year on my High School Soccer team as a Defensive Midfielder. Besides earning my Varsity Letter as a Freshman in soccer I also was voted All District, Most Improved Midfielder, All Conference and also made All Academic Team.  In my Sophomore Year I was voted All District, MVP Midfielder, All League, All Conference and made the All Academic Team.  I was a member of my Varsity Volleyball Team as a Sophomore and despite not having a winning season we won MAC Conference Districts this year and I also earned by Varsity Letter in Volleyball.  I was a member of my Varsity Basketball Team my Sophomore Year and earned a starting position.  I was voted Most Improved Player by my coach and teammates and also went All conference Honorable Mention. My Junior Year I was voted All District, All Conference, All County, All League, All Region, and All team Academic. For my Senior year I was voted All District, All Conference, All County, All League, All Region, All State, MVP Defense, and All State Academic. I also set a record at my high school for the most goals scored with my head in a season which was 8 goals. Finally my freshmen year of college I play at Waldorf University where I earned myself a starting spot as a center back and was voted 2nd team All Conference.

I played with St. Clair Shores Select Soccer Club for 6 years where we earned Team of the Year honors two years in a row and I also was named Most Valuable Player, Best Defensive Player and Player of the Year.  I was a member of Vardar East 98 U-16 girls team for the 2013-2014 travel/club season, during the summer of 2013 played Super Y and was selected to attend the National ODP/Super Y Camp.  My travel/club team left Vardar East and now are playing with Carpathia Kickers Soccer Club for 2014-2016 season.

In regards to my goals in life I would like to pursue a career in the FBI and plan on being in the Behavioral Analysis Unit.

I would like to play soccer at a high college while I pursue my degree.  I pride myself as being a leader and a hard worker both on and off the field.
