Thank you for taking the time to view my profile. My name is Jori Mehney and I am in the class of 2025 at East Grand Rapids High School with a weighted GPA of 4.33. I play center back primarily, but I can also step in as an outside back or a defensive midfield. I play center back on both my club team at Midwest United FC, in which I am the captain, and my varsity school team at East Grand Rapids High School. My goal is to further continue my soccer career on a Division 1 team. Additionally, I also want to pursue my education by going into nursing school or premed. What sets me apart from other players is that I am always willing to keep pushing until it is no longer possible in the game, and in my studies as well. This includes pushing myself as hard as I mentally and physically can and pushing my teammates to the best of their abilities. I am a selfless player and will always want what is best for my team and teammates. I am a good candidate for a team because I am always willing to work as hard as possible and never give up and will always respect and listen to any coach. On the field, I am the last defender, meaning my role is to stop anyone and help my team if they get beat. This is very important because my teammates depend on me as a player. I want to chase my goal and will do anything to make sure my goal is reached to further my soccer career.
