Addison Barefoot '28 Recruiting Profile

Hello, I am Addison, though I prefer to go by Addie, and I am a member of the class of 2028. Having played soccer since I was old enough to kick a ball, I have developed a profound appreciation for the sport. It has instilled in me the value of teamwork, effective communication, and leadership, principles that I strive to uphold both on and off the field. 

In addition to my athletic pursuits, I am deeply committed to my academic studies, dedicating considerable time and effort to achieving academic excellence and taking pride in my academic accomplishments. On the field, I am a dedicated and encouraging teammate, consistently striving to improve my skills and contribute to the team's success. My aspiration is to continue playing soccer at the collegiate level, where I can further embody the values of teamwork and leadership. To achieve this goal, I engage in rigorous training during the off-season, seeking guidance from experienced coaches to enhance my individual skills and contribute to the team's overall performance. I am confident that my strong work ethic, coachability, and commitment to teamwork make me an excellent candidate for any team.

I have been recently accepted/honored to be on the Michigan ODP 24/25 State team. I plan to attend and participate in the Subregional event in Indiana on June 13-15, 2025 in Indianapolis, IN.
