Megan Strom '18 Recruiting Profile

Personal Statement

Despite not having an official high school team I have found opportunities to play and stay active. In 2019 I was recruited from the University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point Club team to play for the private D3 school Finlandia University. At Finlandia, our team rarely lost a game and made it to the ACAA championships in Santa Cruz, CA were we fell to Santa Cruz in the final game.

After that, I returned to the University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point to continue to play year round in their club, and play in the Marquette Women's Soccer League in Marquette, MI in the summers. 

I have recently started to seek out opportunities to play after my college career is over, and during the summer months. I have recently attended a tryout held by the Minnesota Aurora in Blaine, MN. 

I am currently looking for an organization to play for, and I would like to play as long as I physically can. Any opportunities available, I would like to try.
