Sarah Monte kicki...Sarah has been playing soccer since she was 5yrs of age. At an early age it was apparent that she had a "God given talent" and was scoring goal after goal. Due to talent, skills and level of play, she was moved from recreation soccer to club soccer. At the age of 7, Sarah joined the Waza Football ball club and was coached by Rodrigo Gonzales and named team Captain. Sarah led the team in goals scored and was the kid on the team and league that every parent knew of. Sarah was the only girl to play on the U-10 boys team and played goalie and center mid where her powerful left leg would crumple boys with fear.
During the the off season, while playing indoor, referee David Dee told her he wouldn't count her left footed goals and forced her to shoot and score right footed. Her coaches continued this practice and she has since become a dual threat. Sarah can bend corner kicks in on her own and can shoot and score with both her left and right foot.
As the years have passed , Sarah has continued to score goals and has become an amazing play maker, assisting teammate after teammate in scoring. Sarah has the ability to see the entire field and make plays as they form. Sarah's footwork with a soccerball is a sight to be seen and has broken the ankles of many opponents, both boys and girls.
Sarah is now , at the age of 16, going to play in the U-18 Waza league and will be returning to Livonia Stevenson High School Varsity Girsl Soccer Team as a second year player hoping to lead the team as a Captain.
