My goal is always to leave it all on the field. My parents have greatly influenced me to work hard, and to give a 100 percent effort every time I do something. Soccer has helped teach me to not be afraid of making mistakes, everyone messes up at some point, and getting better because of it is what matters. My soccer career hasn't been the easiest. When I first started playing soccer I knew I wasn't the best, but I worked harder than anyone on the team to be the best I could be and to make my self better. I have torn my ACL while playing in a game, and many people tried to tell me that I wouldn’t be able to play the same. I put everything I had into proving them wrong, and I have. I feel as if now you wouldn’t notice unless I've told you that it’s happened. I have played soccer, basketball, softball, golf, and danced, but soccer is by far my favorite. It has taught me so much about myself and about being a part of a team. I have been the captain of my club soccer team for a few years, and I love being the person that others can look up to or come to with any questions. I am good at communicating to the team, and holding one another accountable for our mistakes.
