Kara Pickering '25 Recruiting Profile

As a person and player I am constantly learning and improving both on and off the field.  I am very coachable because I listen, absorb and try my best to execute in game situations the lessons learned at training.  I have been told by numerous coaches throughout the years that I have the ability read the game well and make smart decisions under pressure.  My collegiate goals are to not only play the game I love to the best of my ability and contributing to the team but also to get the best education I can to create a career path that will help me be successful and help others.  I am hoping to work with children in my career path and currently volunteer with the local U4 soccer program as a mentor/coach to kids just starting out in soccer.  I have been an A average student consistently and have excellent attendance.  I have been playing soccer since I was 3 years old and at the Premier level since Fall 2014 season.  My Fall 2024 travel season consisted of 16 games - I scored 7 goals and had 6 assists.
