Jenna Vasquez '20 Recruiting Profile

Thank you for finding my profile. I just started my Junior  year in high school with a 3.78 GPA. I attend Henry Ford II high school in Utica Schools.I have played travel soccer for the past 9 years and this year I play on the Nationals 02 Black team in MRL Premier 1 division. In 2013 I made the Michigan ODP team as an alternate. I trained with them for 10 months and had the opportunity to work with several college coaches. At the Michigan State summer camp, I was named Most Outstanding Forward for my age group. I attended the Saginaw Valley ID camp and had the chance to play with upperclassman and a few of the college players. On a small field playing 11 v 11, I scored several times playing forward. I currently play defensive midfield and also some center defense. My team made it to Regionals in 2017 and we tied the two-time national title team that same year. I attended the CASL College Showcase in Raleigh, NC in December of 2016. I also played in the Disney College Showcase over the Christmas break in 2016.  I am on the Varsity soccer team at Utica Henry Ford II. I play center defense and also some defensive midfield. I scored four goals freshman year and we finished in second in the Mac Red Division. Henry Ford made it to the semi-finals in 2017, where I started every game and even played the entire game in the regional finals. 

My club team Nationals Union 02 Black  played in MRL Premier One and are currently playing National League. This year we won the State Cup Championship for Michigan in October and will continue on to the Midwest Regional Championships in June.
