Avianna McGregor '17 Recruiting Profile

A college whose main focus is academics and helping the students pursue their aspirations is a necessity. College has never been a question and I intend to go above and beyond with anything and everything that comes my way.

Being the first 7th grader to make the Big Lake varsity soccer team and starting every game since 8th grade as well as being a captain as a sophomore and junior as well as soon to be senior captain has taught me a lot through the years. I have learned how to lead by example and take responsibility of many jobs at once. I am also a FCA (fellowship of christian athletes) student leader. Being a leader for student athletes both older and younger than I has taught me a lot about how to deal with many different types of personalities which is essential when on a team. For all my years of school soccer I have received the academic award as well as spotlight on scholarship. Keeping up with all year round soccer and maintaining exceptional grades is a challenge that I will never let down.
