I have been playing soccer for 16 years and I plan to continue playing for as long as possible. Soccer is my number 1 passion. I am an extremely dedicated and hard working player, always giving forth my 110% effort. I strive to be the best player I can possibly be, not only as an individual, but also as a teammate. Every single practice and especially every game, I look for different things to work on in order to improve my skills and knowledge as a soccer player. I will never stop striving to become a better player. I am not afraid to ask my coaches or teammates on how I can better myself as a player, along with helping my teammates when they ask. I am a very respectful person, on and off the field.
I am a very versatile player; I can play every position on the field besides keeper. I have never had one constant position due to the fact that each year I have played, my coaches have moved me all over the field. With that being said, I can honestly say that I love each and every position. I think it is so fun to be able to move from one position to the next. I may be short and smaller than a lot of girls, but I do not let those factors get in the way of my ability to play. I am a physical player, however, I do not play cheap. I also have a lot of speed and quickness to offer. I have always been one of the fastest (if not the fastest) players on each of my teams. I have completed my first two years of college soccer at Rochester Community and Technical College. Both years, we were the NJCAA Region Runner-ups. This past fall our record was 13-2-3, only having lost to ARCC each ending in over-time. By playing with such a talented team these past two years, I have had the opportunity to improve my skills dramatically. I am honored to have received the All-Region title as a forward. I was ranked 24th Nationally for goals; 30th for assists; 26th for points; 10th for shot percentage; and 30th for game winning goals. I plan on training harder than I have ever trained before and I am very excited for my next college soccer journey.
As for my academics, I take my education very seriously. As a senior in high school, I was a PSEO (Post Secondary Enrollment Option) student. I made the Deans list with a 4.0 GPS my first semester at RCTC. I am also in the Honors society. I believe that always continuing my education is very important. I will be graduating RCTC this spring with my Associates Degree in Liberal Arts. I plan on continuing to get my Bachelor's Degree and possibly even my Doctorate.
