I am Anna Conner and my goal is to help a top academic Division 1 school win soccer championships.
I am a big game player. I am very competitive. I give my all for my teams and I thrive under pressure.
My club team went undefeated in NPL Super league play and qualified for the National Finals in Denver in mid-July 2024. I played essentially all game, every game at center
I have played in three state championship games and helped my teams win two. This year (2023), I helped my team win the Minnesota Class 3A Championship in soccer. We finished the season 22-0-0 and ranked as the #1 girls soccer team in the country by United Soccer Coaches (fall season). I played the entire championship game.
Last year, I also helped my team reach the Minnesota Class 3A Championship game but we lost 0-1 to another team with many college soccer commits. That year, I was the only sophomore who made the varsity team. I made the team as a forward after many years playing forward or midfield. Partway through the season, I filled a need on defense. I took to the position, our team defense improved, and I helped turn things around. We ended one step away from the state title. Like this year, I played the entire championship game.
My first state championship was in hockey. I played center on a team that won the 2021 Minnesota state championship in 15UA hockey.
I hope to bring my work ethic to a top program. I would be happy to play wherever the coaches think I would make the greatest contribution to the team’s success.
I am always looking to improve, to both play at the highest level I can, and play against the best competition I can.
Academics are just as important to me, and I make sure to balance school work with athletics. My high school is very competitive both in the classroom and in sports. I take difficult classes which discipline me. I want to be a doctor someday and help people!
I am a versatile player, and have played pretty much every position on the field, so flexibility is my thing.
