I have been playing soccer and other sports since the age of four, and cannot imagine a life without movement, strength and passion for athletics. One of my goals in life is to play soccer at the collegiate level, and I am working hard to achieve that goal.
I am a strong player who values my teammates, hard work, and my coach's insights and guidance. As a team leader, I try to lead by example. I work hard and encourage my teammates to work hard with me, and I have been told time and again that I am very coachable. I will be one of the hardest working and attentive recruits you will have, I love the sport and encourage others around me to love it as well.
One of my greatest strengths on the field is making the outlet pass and seeing the field. I am strong on the ball; I can use my strength and excellent ball handling skills to protect the ball, to force a bad pass or stop a run from the other team. Offensively, I have scored from outside the box on multiple occasions and take corners, calling the plays and organizing my teammates. I pride myself on being calm and collected on the field.
Outside of sports, my work ethic can be seen in the classroom as well. I maintain a high GPA, volunteer as a tutor for younger kids, and enjoy the arts program at my high school. I also volunteer at youth sports camps and work as a camp counselor in the summer, and work part time at a local bakery.
Attending a college where I can feel a part of the community, where I can grow academically and play one of my favorite sports at a high level of competition, that is my goal. I am open to all options and in the end would strive to find the best possible match in both academics and soccer.
