Zetta Thurow '19 Recruiting Profile

I was introduced to soccer at age three when I saw my brother playing in a game. As soon as I saw that my brother was playing soccer I wanted to also. I made my first touches at age three and I started playing competitive soccer at age five with Heat FC in Hendrison NV. What sets me apart from my teammates is my vision of the game and my leadership/communication skills.  I can also dribble, pass, and shoot with both of my feet. Soccer has helped me become a positive and helpful person. I always bring my teammates up when they are feeling the pressure of a close game. When I was seven my brother was diagnosed with stage 3 brain cancer, due to that his abilities to play soccer were taken. This has lead me to work hard and strive to be the best soccer player that I can. I was on Varsity at Brainerd High School the 2016/17 season. I moved to Rochester MN and now attend Mayo High School. I was on Junior Varsity the 2017/18 season. I chose to play JV due to the fact that there was 15 Seniors and I wanted more playing time rather than to not get playing time at the Varsity level.

My academic goal for High School is to graduate with a GPA above 3.5. I would then like to explore the areas of study in either Pre-Veterinary, Animal Science, Biology or Genetics. My current career goal is to become a Veterinarian.
