I love the adrenalin of turning the tide of a game with a great save or a pinpoint distribution that leads to a goal. I have always been a defensive-minded player first as a sweeper and now as a goalkeeper. I find great joy in working with my teammates to take away our opponent's scoring opportunities. In the past 9 months while in goal for my two teams we have only allowed 18 goals in 43 games.
I am a year-round athlete. In the past, I enjoyed playing a variety of sports volleyball, basketball, track & soccer, but as my knowledge of soccer grew so did my passion for the game. It was at that point I decided to focus solely on soccer. I now work year-round perfecting my technique, conditioning, and Soccer IQ while playing for Minnesota Thunder Academy & Waconia high school.
My goal is to play in college and get my degree in sports and performance psychology. I am looking for a school with a family atmosphere that will help me reach my potential in the classroom and on the pitch. I plan on using what I’ve gained to make a career paying it forward as I work with the next generation to realize their dreams.
