Isabel Peng '16 Recruiting Profile

Hi my names Isabel! You could call me Izzy! My dream is to play in the pros like Ronaldinho. I've played soccer sense I was 5 years old. I started training on my own everyday sense I was 11 years old, that's when I understand how much practice was so important to get better. It was boring yeah but the more I practice I started to have more fun, I found out new moves everyday. I used to think that I created those moves because I found them out while I practicing, until I found out someone already created them first. But all that mattered is I figured them out on my own! I played park and Reck for 5 years, then I played for the Southern Boone Eagles competitive team but before we were the Carrera. Then I started to train at the MAC as well, and Adam Booth was my Coach, it was an indoor soccer training, when I was playing for the Southern Boone Eagles. Later I found out I developed more playing at the MAC, so I decided to leave Southern Boone for the MAC, I trained with the guys/ and girls age 11 & up, but I played up with the boys. We played lots of games, tournaments, and scrimmages, but mostly we worked on our ball control, and the knowledge of the game. Then when I was 14 years old I tried out for the Carrera and for Pride the next day, but my age group tryouts were on the same day of the Carrera tryouts, and I didn't know that. So I end up trying out with the older age group and there coach called down my age group coach to come look at me, that what he did and after the tryout he came to talk to my dad and I. I found out that I made both teams so I end up being with the Carrera and found out I was going to play with the older group U16 and not my age group. Kevin was my main coach but eventually Coach Sarah became my coach. I got to play and start, but later I didn't get to play much so after the season I came back to play for the MAC. In the winter Adam Booth made me play with the high school girls even though I wasn't even a freshman yet. It was fun!    My freshman year I played for Hickman High School and I made JV and my Coach was Coach Paulson she came out of retirement to come coach us, but not long they made me practice and play with the Varsity team, and my coach was Coach G, Coach Taylor, and Coach Ross. So I played duel roster! After my freshman year was over I played with the Carrera U15/16 and didn't have to tryout. I found out my best position was wing midfield! I scored a lot and assist a lot! After the season was over. I'm now playing for Battle high school my sophomore year and made Varsity.
