Julia Bockhorst '26 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to go to the best college that will help me in pursing my goal of becoming a Dr. in sports medicine.  I have been playing soccer since I was 4 years old. That love for soccer grew to the point in third grade I started playing for a competitive club team Missouri Rush.  My primary position is center back. I also have played as a wing back as well.  I have also played as a defensive mid where I have really felt most comfortable because of my style of play.  I love to play a physical and aggressive style and when I'm playing as a defensive mid I feel like I can do that more than when I'm playing as a center back.  I believe that I am different from other recruits in the fact that I am willing to put in the work at all levels.  I have had a 4.0 since 6th grade.  I'm taking honors and AP classes at my high school.  I work just as hard on my academics as I do on my athletics.  I work hard on and off the field at getting stronger physically and working on my skills as a defender.  I believe I would be a great addition to any soccer team because I love soccer and I will work hard to be the best version of myself at whatever position the team needs me to be.
