I am a very determined, kind, friendly and competitive person who never gives up on the hard things in life.
When I was six years old I got thrown off of a horse and suffered a concussion. Horses have always been a passion of mine even at that young age and I never thought that I would ride again after that accident. However, I live by the motto, "when you fall off the horse you always get back on". Today I have my own horse and I am trained as and english dressage rider who has been to many competitions. This relates to my passion for soccer because I am a very determined and competitive player that understands you will "fall off the horse" or go through slumps, but it is how you overcome those trials that make you who you are, not only as a player, but as a person. I love that this sport allows me to grow, learn and try to become the best version of myself on and off the field. I want to play college soccer at the highest level I can while obtaining a well rounded, quality education for my future. My parents have instilled in my a passion for learning and excelling in the classroom. I am a very diverse player who loves to attack my opponent and find outlets to pass to my teammates the best I can. I am a very technical player and love to create opportunities for others to score goals. I pride myself on being an unselfish player and good teammate.
A vital part of my soccer journey is my relationship with God. My faith is a very important part of soccer for me and motivates me to become the best player and person I can. I go to seminary classes in the mornings before school, involve myself in community service projects, and attend activities with my church youth group each week. I wouldn't be who I am today without God who helps in every facet of my life.
I hope to bring my "get back on the horse" mentality, passion for the game, devotion to my faith, family and education to your program. Thank you for your consideration.
Sincerely
London Kirk - Class of 2026
