Juliann Smith '20 Recruiting Profile

Soccer has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. From bus rides home and long weekend tournaments, building a good relationship with my teammates and coaches is very important to me. Personally, I believe that the team becomes more than a team and more like a family. 

Above soccer, I put my academics. Succeeding in the classroom has always been my focus. I hope to finish in the top of my class in the spring, so a strong academic college is also a key factor for me. 

I am looking for a college that will support me academically and athletically. For my high school and club season I have played a center back position, but I can apply my defensive mentality to any position on the field. I use my height and speed to my advantage while I am on the field to win the ball out of the air and make long attacking runs.
